These are my own photographs (except lunar rover) manipulated to one extreme or the other. The one extreme involves stripping away all of the colors except for black and white. Not the same as black and white photography which utilizes shades of gray aka gray-scale to reproduce captured images. The technique works best with images that have well defined interesting textures.
The other extreme involves exaggeration of the colors and shades present in the image. Adjusting of Levels, curves, Brightness Contrast and other filters can dramatically change the look and create interesting images.
